OPP CHARGE TWO PEMBROKE MEN AFTER BREAK AND ENTER
(PEMBROKE, ON) – On the morning of November 26, 2017 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a residence on Eganville Road in the City of Pembroke after the homeowner discovered that a detached garage on the property had been broken into during the overnight hours. Several items were stolen including power tools, toys and video equipment. The investigation led police to a residence on an adjacent street where police located several stolen items. Two men at the residence were arrested and charged as a result.
23-year-old Brandon Aaron LAMOUREUX and 21-year-old Benjamin Dalton LECLAIRE, both of Pembroke, are each charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Fail to Comply with Recognizance
LAMOUREUX was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until his next scheduled court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 5, 2017.
LECLAIRE was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until his next scheduled court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 6, 2017.
