Although our Township By-Law states that load restrictions run from March 1 to May 31, we may shorten or extend the time frame, dependent on weather. These restrictions are pursuant to section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act and applicable Municipal By-Laws.

The table below details a list of roads that are classified as exemptions from load restrictions. Year round full loads are permitted on these roads.

Vehicle loads will be restricted to 5 tonnes per axle on those roads where signs have been erected. Haulers should contact the appropriate road authority to determine the spring load restrictions on roads under their authority.
