UPDATE: OPP INVESTIGATE VEHICLE THEFT IN PETAWAWA
(PETAWAWA, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate the theft of a black Chrysler minivan from the driveway of a residence on Riverstone Trail in the Town of Petawawa. The vehicle was stolen sometime between the afternoon of November 17 and the afternoon of November 18, 2018. The van had been left unlocked with the keys inside. On November 28, 2018, at approximately 3:30pm, the stolen vehicle was recovered after it was found abandoned on Butler Boulevard in Petawawa. The investigation is continuing with the assistance of an OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO).
