TRUCK COLLIDES WITH HOUSE IN LAURENTIAN VALLEY
(LAURENTIAN VALLEY, ON) – On August 7, 2020 at approximately 3:30 p.m. members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Pleasant View Drive in Laurentian Valley Township (LVTP). A pickup truck left the roadway on a curve and struck a residence in the 200 block of Pleasant View Drive. The 85 year old driver and 73 year old passenger, both of LVTP, sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation and will include a mechanical inspection of the involved vehicle.
