PROPOSED SANITARY PUMPING STATION ON HIGHWAY 148 (intersection of Drive In Road and Pembroke Street East) – DCR Addendum Filing – comments received until October 25, 2025
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Parsons Inc. have completed the Design and Construction Report (DCR) Addendum for the Detail Design and Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study, which includes the addition of a new sanitary pumping station at 127 Drive-In Road.

2026 Spring Load Restrictions

Pursuant to Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act and applicable Municipal By-Laws, reduced load limits on roads throughout the Township of Laurentian Valley will be in effect commencing March 9, 2026, and extending until May 31, 2026.
Vehicle loads will be restricted to 5 tonnes per axle on those roads where signs have been erected.

The Township of Laurentian Valley would like to take this opportunity to remind users of the Township’s Municipal Water System that the Water Restriction By-Law is in effect from May 15th to September 15th, 2025. Due to the extreme dry conditions, please help us conserve water where possible to avoid further restrictions being applied. Properties with Even numbered addresses can only water lawns and gardens on Even calendar days between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00am and 6:00pm and 10:00pm.
