Please be advised that construction is planned on County of Renfrew infrastructure in your area and is anticipated to begin in August 14, 2023. Please see below for more information on the project and reach out to the contacts identified should you have any questions or concerns prior to or during construction.
Why: The culvert has reached the end of its service life and must be replaced.
What: The project consists of removal and replacement of the existing culvert. Replacement will require the culvert be fully closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the entire duration of the construction project.
When: The work will begin August 14, 2023 with road closure anticipated to commence the same day. It is anticipated that the project will be completed October 2023.
Where: Borne Road, approximately 150m West of German Road in the Township of Laurentian Valley.
Safety: During construction, it is our priority to ensure the safety of the public, but this will require cooperation. Please respect all traffic signage and stay clear of all construction equipment. If applicable, please tell your children about the dangers of playing near a construction area.
Construction Disruptions: The Contractor will take every precaution to minimize interruptions to local residents and businesses, but as you can appreciate, there may be some inconvenience during the course of the project, including noise and delays.
