2025 Laurentian Valley Fall Flavours Festival is returning to the Alice & Fraser Recreation Centre at 1 Henan Road on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm. 

Food vendors, beverage sampling, live entertainment, baking and preserving competitions, handmade market, cornhole tournament, face painting, Ry'J's Bouncy Castle, dance performances and more! Local bands Lock, Stock and Barrell (12-3pm) as well as John Priebe Band (4-7pm) are the festival music headliners playing crowd favourites and classics that are sure to get you dancing! Entry to the live entertainment and beverage sampling is $5. Entry to the vendor market and kid's activities is by donation. Funds raised from the event will be put toward recreation opportunities within the Township and upgrades to the Alice & Fraser Recreation Centre.

  • FACE PAINTING 1-4pm: Happy Valley Face Painting will be on site from 1-4pm to add a splash of colour to you day with a free face painting station. Whether you want to be a butterfly, superhero, tiger, or anything in between — this talented artist will bring your imagination to life. Perfect for kids (and kids at heart)!
  • HANDMADE VENDOR MARKET: 12-5pm: Join us at the Fall Flavours Festival Handmade Vendor Market from 12:00–5:00 pm! 🍂🎉 Stroll through a one-of-a-kind market filled with local makers, artisans, and crafters showcasing their unique creations. Come support local talent, discover handmade treasures, and enjoy the warm festival vibes! 🌟Great opportunity to showcase local talents and products! Over 1000 visitors throughout the day! $50 per table. Pre-registration required by September 12, 2025. Must have own table/shelter. Set-up time from 10am - 12pm. Market starts at noon until 5pm.   • DANCE PERFORMANCES: Festival is thrilled to welcome Starz In Motion Dance Studio to the stage! Get ready to be wowed by several incredible dance performances full of energy, talent, and passion. You won’t want to miss these shining stars in action—mark your calendars and join us for the show for 2pm! Performers include:
    • Eloise Gagnon, 14 years old performing a jazz piece called "Sunscreen"
    • Chloé Corriveau, 15 years old performing a contemporary piece called "Carry Me Home"
    • Eleanor Richard, 9 years old performing a jazz piece called "That's How We Do"
    • Brenna Leamen, 17 years old performing a musical theater piece called "Second Hand Suit"
    • Emma Nowak, 9 years old performing a jazz piece called "Jailhouse Rock"Caterine LeMoine, 13 years old performing a jazz piece called "Desplat's Orchestra
  • CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT 11:30am: The festival’s Cornhole Tournament brings competitive fun to the Festival! Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the game, dive into the action of tossing bean bags and hitting the mark. The cornhole tournament will start at noon, registration 11:30am. $5 to play. Just show up! Come test your skills, enjoy the lively atmosphere, and be part of the festival's spirited festivities!  Bring your own seating some shelter will be provided. 
  • BALLOON ARTIST 1-4pm: Get ready to be amazed by our incredible Mr. Dimples, bringing colour, creativity, and pure joy to the festival from 1-4pm! Watch as ordinary balloons are transformed into extraordinary creations — from animals and hats to superheroes and beyond. It’s fun for all ages and a must-see stop during your festival adventure!
  • WAGON RIDES 1-4pm:🍂 Take in the beauty of the coming of autumn with wagon rides on the majestic LV Four Seasons Trail! Ride through a breathtaking display of changing fall leaves and soak up the colours of the season in the most scenic way. 🌾🚜 Don’t miss this perfect family-friendly festival experience!
  • BOUNCY CASTLE 12-5pm: Ry-J’s Climbing Adventures is adding a fun bouncy castle for kids to enjoy during the festival. A special thank you to Ry-J's Owner, Sean Dennison, for donating this inflatable!

Baking Competition

We invite you to show off your skills and enjoy a friendly competition with neighbours, family and friends.

All exhibits in the Baking Competitions will be compared against expectations of perfection in appearance, quality and taste. Winners announced at 3:00pm.

Winners will receive bragging rights, a ribbon and cash prize!

Categories include:

  • Create your version of perfect Pumpkin Muffin (3 muffins)

  • Or 2 Bite Apple Tarts (3 tarts)

Please submit portions suggested.


Entry Guidelines - Baking

  • All items must be dropped off at the Alice & Fraser Recreation Centre on Saturday September 20, 2025 between 12-1pm upstairs in the rec centre located at 1 Henan Road.

  • $5.00 fee for each entry

  • Display on a white disposable tray or plate wrapped neatly and securely for freshness. Entries may be picked up after the winners are announced

  • Entire baked product must be entered unless otherwise stated

  • Must not use any prepackaged items

  • Labelled correctly (name of category and your name)
