Notification of Construction Activities - Hwy 148 Rehabilitation
Dear Resident(s), Occupant(s), and Whom It May Concern,
Please be advised that Thomas Cavanagh Construction Ltd. (TCCL) is scheduled to transition to
a Staged Construction Configuration beginning Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.
As part of this transition, the travel lanes along Pembroke Street East (Hwy 148) will be shifted
southerly onto the previously constructed temporary asphalt widening.
Please be advised that the existing pavement markings have been modified to accommodate the
new traffic alignment. In addition, the traffic signals at the intersection of Angus Campbell Drive
and Pembroke Street East have been modified to temporary staged traffic signals to
accommodate the revised configuration and maintain traffic flow through the intersection.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to exercise caution and follow all posted signage, pavement
markings, and temporary traffic control measures while travelling through the construction area.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to complete these improvements.
