Dear Resident, 

The Township of Laurentian Valley advises that our Public Works division will soon be making road improvements in your neighbourhood.  Approximately 0.36 km of roadway will be reconstructed. This will be a project includes South Wind Dr. from Mud lake Rd to the Dead End.

The project involves the reconstruction of the roadway and ditching improvements which includes the following works:

  • Stripping of asphalt road surface
  • Replacement of granular road base materials
  • Placement of geo-synthetic products
  • Culvert replacements
  • Ditching works where required
  • Repaving of the roadway
  • Shouldering of the new roadway

Please be informed of these works and particularly your attention - please obey:

  • All signage in the designated work area
  • Traffic Control Persons when travelling through the work site
  • Vehicles and equipment within the work site

The Municipality is committed to working with you to help alleviate the impact of the construction on your daily activities. Every effort will be made to minimize any inconveniences to you. If you need to drive through the construction zone, please allow additional commuting time. Construction is scheduled to begin on September 13, 2021 and all works should be completed by October 1, 2021. The work will be completed by Township Operations Staff, as well as contracted services from Greenwood Paving and G.P. Splinter.
