Laurentian Valley, ON -The Township of Laurentian Valley hosted its 1st Family Ice Fishing Derby on February 29, 2020 from 10 am to 2 pm on Lemke Lake and it proved to be a great success with 91 attendees of all ages coming out to enjoy this free fun event.

The lucky winners of the day included:
Longest Fish – Deborah Murphy (Pike, 47cm)
2nd Longest Fish – Jarrett Stewart (Perch, 20 cm)
3rd Longest Fish – Elie Maynes (Perch, 19.3cm)
4th Longest Fish – David Schori (Perch, 12.2cm)
5th Longest Fish – David Schori (Perch, 12.2cm)

We truly appreciate your commitment to the Township and are grateful for your support! The success of the event is very much due to the wonderful contributions from our great community.
