The Official Plan for the Township of Laurentian Valley was adopted by Council on July 23, 2002, approved by the County of Renfrew with modifications on June 30, 2004 and by the Ontario Municipal Board by oral decision December 10, 2004. |
Comprehensive Zoning By-law 08-04-391, being a By-law to regulate the use of lands and the character, location and use of buildings and structures within the Township of Laurentian Valley pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13. |
The County of Renfrew is the Approval Authority for Plans of Subdivision and Plans of Condominium in the Township of Laurentian Valley. Prior to filing an application, it is recommended that developers should first pre-consult with the Township of Laurentian Valley and then the County of Renfrew, to identify any potential issues and to ensure that the application will be a complete application when filed. |
The County of Renfrew Land Division Committee is the Approval Authority for Applications for Consent in the Township of Laurentian Valley. A consent can be granted for the severance of a new lot, a lot addition/lot line adjustment, a right-of-way, an easement, for mortgage/charge purposes or for a lease. Prior to filing an application, it is recommended that property owners and developers pre-consult with the Township of Laurentian Valley first and then the County of Renfrew. The purpose of the pre-consultation is to identify any potential issues with the proposal and to ensure that the application will be a complete application when filed. The Township of Laurentian Valley Committee of Adjustment is the Approval Authority for applications for minor variance. |
