Mayor Bennett was first elected to Council of the Township of Laurentian Valley in November 1997. Bennett has served four terms as a Councillor and in 2014 and 2018 was elected Mayor. Reeve Debbie Robinson is serving her fourth term as a Council Member for the Township of Laurentian Valley. Robinson has served two terms as a Councillor and in 2014 and 2018 was elected Reeve. Reeve Robinson represents the Township of Laurentian Valley at County Council. Reeve Robinson serves as Chair of Council's Planning & Development Services Committee, represents the municipality as one of the members of the Municipal Liaison Committee for municipal partnerships and agreements, and also serves as a member of Council's on the Personnel Committee. |

Cllr Jen Gauthier is serving her third term on municipal Council for Laurentian Valley, having been elected in November 2010. Cllr Gauthier serves on the Public Services & Programs Standing Committee. Cllr Gauthier also represents the municipality on the Festival Hall committee, the Shady Nook Recreation Association and the Personnel Committee of Council. Cllr Gauthier is a supervisor at a local establishment, and resides in Laurentian Valley. |

Councillor Hugli was elected to council in 2014. He serves as the chair of the Upper Ottawa Valley Community Police Advisory Committee, and is also a member of the Planning and Economic and Development Committee and Personnel Committee. He also acts as the council’s liaison to Pleasant View Park Committee and the Laurentian Valley Community Policing Committee. For over 35 years, Brian has owned and operated an Agri-tourism business in Laurentian Valley Township. He is the past President of the Ontario Farm Fresh Marketing Association and the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke. For the past 8 years, Brian has enjoyed working the local youth coaching soccer at the Shady Nook Recreation Center and coaches a team from the Ottawa Valley Vikings Volleyball Club. Brian and his wife Judy have two children that they enjoy raising in Laurentian Valley with all that it has to offer. |

Councillor Pleau is serving his first term of Council after being elected in 2018. Councillor Pleau represents the Township of Laurentian Valley on the following Committees:
Councillor Pleau has been a resident of Laurentian Valley since 2005 and resides with his wife Stacey and three girls. Prior to being elected as Councillor, Councillor Pleau has served as a volunteer on the Ottawa Valley Girls Hockey Association for the last 13 years. |

Councillor Watt is serving his second term as a Council Member for The Township of Laurentian Valley. Councillor Watt represents the Township as a member of the Pembroke Public Library Committee and the Ottawa Valley Physician Recruitment Committee. Councillor Watt also serves as Council liaison to the Forest Lea Park Association. Previous to the 2014 Municipal Election, Watt served as a volunteer member of the Laurentian Valley Community Policing Committee for twelve years and was Chair for the last six years. |

Cllr Allan Wren was re-elected to council in November 2010. Previously, Cllr Wren served the community as a member of Council for 16 years, losing a bid for re-election in 2006. Cllr Wren serves as the Chair of the Corporate Services Committee and is a member of the Public Services & Programs Standing Committee, and the Planning & Development Standing Committee. Councillor Wren acts as Council Liaison to the Alice & Fraser Recreation Association and Laurentian Valley representative to the Pembroke & Area Airport Commission. Cllr Wren is Manager with National Foods, and resides in Laurentian Valley with his wife Cathy. |
