Permits and Licenses

Pet Tags

Each Resident living in Laurentian Valley is to purchase an annual pet license for their dog or cat. Pet tags are sold at the Municipal Office and can be delivered if you are disabled and unable to attend the office.

Setrilized Pets: before March 31st - $15; after March 31st - $25

Unsterilized Pets: before March 31st - $20; after March 31st - $30

Building Permits

Each Resident is required to have a Building permit for all new construction on their property including:

· Houses, garages, sheds, decks
· Pools, on site sewage disposal
· Additions and renovations affecting the structure or plumbing of a building, and change of use on commercial buildings.

Plan ahead as permits can take up to 2 weeks to process, so consult with us as soon as possible. This permit can be found at the Municipality Office and call Lauretian Valley if you have any questions.

Burning Permits

Each Resident is required to have a Burning permit when having a fire on their property. The permits can be purchased the Municipality Office or on our website: http://www.lvtownship.ca/forms-and-applications/burning-forms/
