NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR APPLICATION FOR SUBDIVISION APPROVAL

(RESUBMISSION OF LAPSED APPLICATION)

In the matter of Sections 51(20)(a) and (b), and 51(21) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended, the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley hereby gives NOTICE OF THE FOLLOWING:

(1)        Application for Approval of a plan of subdivision (County of Renfrew Application File No. 47-T-14005

(2)        A Public Meeting regarding the proposed subdivision.

Location of Subject Lands

An application for approval of a plan of subdivision, being File No. No.47-T-14005, has been filed with the County of Renfrew, for the lands being Part 1, Plan 49R-18071, in Part Lots 22 and 23, Concession 1, in the geographic Township of Pembroke, in the Township of Laurentian Valley, and located abutting the Ottawa River, Hales Creek and Golf Course Road, as shown on the Key Map.  The previous draft plan approval lapsed prior to the conditions for final approval being met requiring the application to be resubmitted.  This current application is a resubmission of the previously approved draft plan previously known as File No. 47-T-10003.

Public Meeting

AT THE REQUEST OF THE COUNTY OF RENFREW (THE APPROVAL AUTHORITY), THE TOWNSHIP OF LAURENTIAN VALLEY WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING TO INFORM THE PUBLIC OF THE SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION APPLICATION ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 16TH, AT 5:30 P.M. AT THE TOWNSHIP OF LAURENTIAN VALLEY MUNICIPAL OFFICE LOCATED AT 460 WITT ROAD, PEMBROKE ON, K8A 6W5.

Description of Application for Plan of Subdivision File No. 47-T-14005

The proposed residential plan of subdivision consists of 12 proposed single detached residential lots, 1 block for the existing single detached dwelling (known municipally as 221 Golf Course Road), 1 open space block for common water access and a proposed internal road to be dedicated to the Township.  All of the lots are to be serviced by individual private wells and septic systems. The current County of Renfrew File number for the proposed plan of subdivision is 47-T-14005.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION regarding the proposed plan of subdivision is available at the County of Renfrew Administration Building at the address indicated below, or at the Township Municipal Office.  Any questions related to the proposed plan of subdivision should be directed to either Bruce Howarth, Senior Planner, County of Renfrew at the address below, or to Lauree J. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the County of Renfrew in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority (being the County) gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the County of Renfrew to the Ontario Municipal Board.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the County of Renfrew in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

Accordingly, all written submissions, documents, correspondence, e-mails or other communications (including your name and address) form part of the public record and will be disclosed/made available by the Township and/or the County to such persons as the Township and/or the County deem appropriate, including anyone requesting such information. Accordingly, in providing any such information, you shall be deemed to have consented to its use and disclosure as part of the planning process.
