Notice of Application for Plan of Subdivision 47 T 13001 and June 18th 2013 Public Meeting

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SUBDIVISION APPROVAL AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
TOWNSHIP OF LAURENTIAN VALLEY / COUNTY OF RENFREW

In the matter of Sections 51(20)(a) and (b) of the Planning Act, the Township of Laurentian Valley and County of Renfrew hereby give NOTICE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1) An application for the approval of a plan of subdivision (application 47-T-13001).
2) A public meeting regarding the proposed plan of subdivision (application 47-T-13001).

 

Subject Lands The lands affected by the above-noted application are described as Part Block 20, Plan 616, Block 21, Registered Plan 616, Part Lot 6 and Part Peninsula B, Concession 4, in the geographic Township of Pembroke, in the Township of Laurentian Valley, as shown on the attached Key Map.

Public Meeting A PUBLIC MEETING TO INFORM THE PUBLIC OF THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, JUNE 18TH, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. AT THE TOWNSHIP OF LAURENTIAN VALLEY MUNICIPAL OFFICE LOCATED AT 460 WITT ROAD, PRMBROKE, ON K8A 6W5.

Description of Application
The County of Renfrew has received Application No. 47-T-13001 for approval of a plan of subdivision for the above-noted lands. The proposed plan of subdivision consists of 11 lots, 2 blocks and a proposed internal road to be dedicated to the Township. All of the lots are proposed to be used for single detached residential dwellings. One lot (proposed Lot 4) contains an existing single detached dwelling known municipally as 56 Blue Danube Way. The 2 blocks (Blocks 12 and 13) are proposed for open space. The lots are to be serviced by individual private wells and septic systems. All the lots will be accessed by an internal road which connects to Blue Danube Way.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the County of Renfrew in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the County of Renfrew gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the County of Renfrew to the Ontario Municipal Board, and the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
