Availability of Sandbags and Sand Supplies

The Township of Laurentian Valley is continuing to supply a sandbag filling depot at George Matheson Park located at 630 Forest Park Road.  Staff will continue to monitor the supply however should either bags or sand be depleted you can contact 613-735-6070 or to advise that the stockpiles need to be replenished.

Township Staff also continue to monitor the weather and water levels and will continue to update the website as new information becomes available about flood levels on the Ottawa River.  Should you have an after hours emergency, you can contact the Township's after hours contact number at 613-735-6070.   (This number is for non-911 emergencies.)

Residents along the Ottawa River should aslo monitor the water levels and notiices being issued on the Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board website at  As a reminder, for residents in the Sullivan Point Road, Forest Park Road and  Gull Road area, the water level changes you should look to are those for Lake Coulonge at Fort Coulonge,
