2018 Municipal Election Information Session for Candidates and Third Party Advertisers
The Municipal and School Board Election will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018. Those considering to run in the Election can file nomination papers from Tuesday, May 1, 2018 to Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

With over 100 changes to the Municipal Elections Act, this session would be beneficial for potential candidates, third party advertisers, and anyone interested in learning more about local government.

This information session is free to attend and will provide information regarding:
 Nominations and the eligibility to run
 Candidate and third party advertisers
 General campaign rules and election finances
 Compliance audits and penalties

This Information Session will feature Stephen Seller, Municipal Advisor, for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs. Information about the Municipal Councils for Bonnechere Valley, Laurentian Valley, Pembroke, Petawawa, Renfrew and Whitewater Region will be available at all sessions.
