Nomination Period - January 2, 2014 to September 12, 2014

  • Nominations may be filed by candidates with the Clerk at any time, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm excluding statutory holidays. 
  • On nomination day, Friday September 12, 2014, nominations may only be filed with the Clerk between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Campaign Period - January 2, 2014 to December 31, 2014

  • The campaign period begins January 2, 2014 or when a candidate files his or her nomination paper, whichever is later, and ends on December 31, 2014 unless the candidate withdraws their nomination or the Clerk rejects their nomination. 

Nomination Day - September 12, 2014

  • Last day for filing nominations from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

Withdrawal of Candidacy - September 12, 2014

  • Withdrawal of nominations before 2:00 pm.

Voting Day - October 27, 2014

  • Voting is held between the hours of 10:00 am and 8:00 pm. 

Term of Office Commences - December 1, 2014

  • New Council deemed organized when quorum of members have taken declaration of office.

Campaign Period Ends - December 31, 2014

  • Deadline for Candidate to provide Clerk with written Notification of Deficit and Continuation of Campaign Period.

Deadline for Filing Financial Statements - March 27, 2015

  • This is the final date which all nominated candidates must file their financial statements
