2014 Municipal Election

TAKE NOTICE that nominations for positions on the 2014 to 2018 Municipal Council may be filed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on nomination day, Friday, September 12th, 2014, or during the period from Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 to Thursday, September 11th, 2014  inclusive immediately preceding nomination day, at a time when the clerk’s office is open. 

Term of Office: December 1, 2014 - November 30, 2018

Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley for the Offices of:

MAYOR - one (1) to be elected at large

REEVE - one (1) to be elected at large

COUNCILLOR - five (5) to be elected at large

School Board Trustee Elections:

TRUSTEE, Renfrew County District School Board

  • One (1) to be elected from the combined area of the Township of Laurentian Valley, and the Township of North Algona Wilberforce.
