In this challenging time for businesses navigating through the regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19, the following provides some links to various websites that provide information on topics like what are considered essential services, various financial support programs and resources available for a variety of businesses as well as other useful information.  As information is constantly changing we are providing links in many cases so that you can always find the most up-to-date information.  Please ensure you are always checking credible resources as there are a number of scams occurring at this time as well.

If you have any questions or need assistance in finding some information on guidelines or supports for business, please do not hesitate to contact the Township as we will endeavour to find out the information for you as best we can or direct you to the best contact to follow-up on your question or issue.  Please stay safe and follow all public health recommendations related to COVID-19 so we can ensure that we can keep everyone safe and move forward with economic recovery as quickly and safely as possible.

Funding resources

There are some local government support programs available to local businesses. These programs are as follows: 

  1. Business Development FundA grant that is administered through Enterprise Renfrew County. Businesses can get a grant of up to $5,000 for costs related to e-business solutions, marketing, and creative solutions in the COVID-19 environment. Applications are now closed.
  2. Benefit Finder Tool: A helpful tool from the Government of Canada to find COVID-19 benefits that are specific to you and your business.
  3. Small Business Recover Resources Page: Learn about resources available for Ontario businesses with fewer than 100 employees. Additional help is available for businesses of all sizes.
