Notice of Extended Traffic Delays - Boundary Road East

City of Pembroke Media Release
Notice of Extended Traffic Delays

For Immediate Release – Friday, August 3, 2018

Boundary Road East Reconstruction
Phase 1: Almira Street South to Bennett Street
Phase 2: Trafalgar Road to Karen Street

Boundary Road East from Almira Street South to Bennett Street (Phase 1) and Boundary Road East from Trafalgar Road to Karen Street (Phase 2) will be paved with top lift asphalt on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 starting at approximately 7:30 a.m. and continuing until approximately 9:30 p.m.

It is anticipated that the road will remain open to local traffic only. This will allow for the continued access to businesses or properties throughout the duration of the paving; however, extended delays can be expected. Traffic control persons will be used to help redirect traffic around the operations.

The City of Pembroke asks the public to respect the posted construction signage and the direction of traffic control persons at all times.

You are also reminded that the businesses within the construction and detour zones remain open for business and the many business owners would be happy to serve you.

We thank you for your patience as the City of Pembroke continues to improve our infrastructure.
